We’d like to add a highly qualified accounting clerk to support the daily operations of our team. The ideal candidate has a flair for math and an eagerness to learn more about the building material industry and what we do. As a successful Accounting Clerk, you’ll ensure that the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively.

Responsibilities:  

  • Inventory processes

  • Payroll

  • Accounts Payable

  •  Accounts Receivable

  • Remit HST monthly

  • Orchestrate inventory and cycle counts

  • Track and report fixed assets

  • Invoicing

  • Project Accounting

  • Monthly Bank Reconciliations

  • Placing Inventory Purchase Orders

  • Receiving Purchase Orders

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong  knowledge and experience in Basic Accounting Principles and Sage 300

  • Experience in Building Supplies and/or Manufacturing would be considered a strong asset

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting.

  • As part of a team, you communicate well, and you can build relationships with others

  • Microsoft 365
